Harmony reports hike in 2012 sales

November 24, 2012, Las Vegas Review Journal – Real EstateHarmony Homes President Robert Beville said the locally owned and operated builder is enjoying its best sales year ever.

“We offer the best possible value to our buyers, and our homes are unlike any other production homes on the market, with open floor plans and dramatic great rooms,” he said. “This year we’ve seen high demand and low inventory drive the local housing market. Buyers are enjoying this opportunity to purchase new homes at great prices, and they are excited about the floor plans we’ve introduced at Aspire.”

The newest Harmony Homes community, Aspire at Mountain’s Edge, is expected be one of its most popular, he added.

The gated community in the southwest part of Las Vegas offers three floor plans, including one single-story plan, ranging from 2,973 to 4,160 square feet. Homes at Aspire include three-car garages and an option for as many as six bedrooms, and prices start in the low $300,000s.

Beville said several of Harmony Homes‘ communities that were expected to have homes for sale into 2013 have already sold out.

The three floor plans available at Aspire all feature kitchens with oversized islands, as well as oversized master bedrooms and master closets and ample backyards, he said.

The single-story floor plan includes an oversized master closet that is connected to the home’s laundry room and a den that can be converted into an additional bedroom with its own bath.

“The 3,576-square-foot floor plan at Aspire is based on a model that was very popular in our Prominence community at Aliante, and we wanted to make it available to buyers looking for a new home in the southwest part of the valley,” Beville said. ”One thing that buyers should keep in mind is that local home prices have started to go up, so the time to buy is now.”

Aspire is adjacent to Exploration Park, the largest park in Mountain’s Edge and near Nathaniel Jones ParkExploration Park includes children’s play areas, a splash pad, picnic areas and an outdoor amphitheater. Nathaniel Jones Park also features child play areas and a splash pad, as well as lighted basketball courts.

In early December, Harmony Homes is expected to celebrate the grand opening of a second Mountain’s Edge community, Serenada. This community also will offer three floor plans, ranging from 2,151 to 2,636 square feet and with prices starting in the low $200,000s. Standard features will include granite kitchen countertops and paver driveways. Additionally, master bedrooms include two full closets.

In January, Harmony Homes is expected to celebrate the grand opening of Aviano in Henderson. The gated community features a community pool and a park.

Mountain’s Edge is at the intersection of Buffalo Drive and Blue Diamond Road. To visit, take the southern Las Vegas Beltway to Buffalo and head south to Blue Diamond Road. Or, take Interstate 15 to the Blue Diamond exit and travel west to Mountain’s Edge.

Harmony Homes introduces new communities in Southern Nevada

Harmony Homes, a locally owned homebuilder, recently broke ground on two new communities in the master-planned community of Mountain’s Edge. The communities, Aspire and Serenada, are scheduled to open in early November.

Geoff Gorman, vice president of sales for Harmony Homes, said both Mountain’s Edge communities offer “the dramatic kitchens and oversized master bedrooms that people have come to expect from Harmony Homes. We build spacious, upscale homes at competitive prices and that allows our communities to really stand out.”

Aspire at Mountain’s Edge offers three floor plans, ranging from 2,973 to 4,160 square feet. Homes at Aspire will include three-car garages, and an option for up to six bedrooms. Aspire is a gated community, and includes one single-story floor plan.

“Our 3,576-square-foot floor plan is based on a model that was very popular in the Prominence community at Aliante,” Gorman says.

Serenada at Mountain’s Edge also offers three floor plans, ranging from 2,140 to 2,620 square feet. Standard features include master bedrooms with two full closets and upstairs laundry rooms.

Homes at Serenada also have an option for up to six bedrooms, including an optional downstairs bedroom. The Serenada community is located just moments from Carolyn S. Reedom Elementary School.

“All of our floor plans are very well thought-out, and have great family spaces,” Gorman said. “It’s very important to us that Harmony Homes is known for unique floor plans and lots of functional space.”

Harmony Homes also recently introduced two new communities made up entirely of single-story homes in Laughlin, where new home developments have been scarce in recent years. The builder’s most recent community in Laughlin, Crossing at Bilbray Ranch, opened earlier this year and offers three floor plans ranging from 1,479 to 1,722 square feet.

Manor at Bilbray Ranch opened last year and features larger, one-story residences offering up to 2,388 square feet.

Harmony Homes has sold more than 1,000 homes since it was formed in Southern Nevada in late 2008. So far this year, it is enjoying its best sales year ever. The builder offers 14 neighborhoods throughout the Las Vegas Valley, with one- and two-story homes priced from the $130,000s ranging from 1,559 to 4,900 square feet.

Harmony’s ‘OMG’ home enables buyers to design second story at The Fields in Aliante

Harmony Homes has earned the distinction of combining unique floor plans with high design standards by mixing its eye for design with functionality and value at The Fields and Prominence neighborhoods within the Aliante master-planned community.

The Las Vegas-based builder’s recent introduction of its “OMG Plan” at The Fields has piqued the interest of buyers seeking the opportunity to build a home according to their own personal needs by adding a second floor to a single-story design and choosing from multiple structural options, according to Geoff Gorman, vice president of sales.

“We at Harmony Homes realize that each home buyer is unique and each is searching for that perfect home that meets their individual needs.  Our new ‘OMG’ home design at The Fields epitomizes our desire to build homes just the way that buyers want,” Gorman said.

“The ‘OMG’ is short for ‘Over My Garage’ and is basically a single-story home with a giant bonus space built above the garage. This home is ideal for someone who really loves the idea of a single-story living with all of the living areas and bedrooms on the first floor, but may need a little more space which is created by building a 600-square-foot-plus flex space that can be used however they want.”

The OMG design includes three standard bedrooms and two baths on the first floor plus a 673-square-foot second-floor flex space with multiple structural options. Additionally, the hone may be expanded from 2,720 to 2,858 square feet by enlarging the home’s first-floor master suite and converting the tandem three-car garage into a two-car garage with bonus storage.

“The OMG is unique in that we offer our buyers the choice as to how they want the second floor designed. There is an option for a separate living area with a small kitchenette, small living room and bedroom suite; or buyers may choose to utilize the area as a playroom, game room, or a ‘man cave.’ It can remain a large open space. The choice is theirs,” Gorman said.

The Fields also features two-story designs measuring from 2,227 to 2,447 square feet with three or four bedrooms and an optional fifth bedroom, 2 ½ baths, and three-car garage.

“The Fields’ 2,389-square-foot Residence Three is also a favorite because it is a great home for entertaining with a private courtyard entrance and a very large, open great room that can be expanded. No one else is building anything like it in town,” Gorman said.

To visit, take the I-215 beltway north to Aliante Parkway. Head north on Aliante Parkway, turn left on Elkhorn Road and follow the signs.

Located a few blocks west of The Fields is the gated entrance of Prominence, where two-story residences offer 2,926 to 4,217 square feet with prices starting from $239,990. The homes include three to five bedrooms, 2 ½ to 3 ½ baths, and three-car garages, as well as multiple design options.

“Harmony is currently offering big incentives at both The Fields and Prominence with up to $15,000 toward options at our design center and closing costs. The value of both of these neighborhoods is already fantastic with their low starting prices. It becomes an even a better deal with these limited time incentives combined with today’s low interest rates,” Gorman said. “We encourage prospective buyers to visit and see the unique designs for themselves.”

The sales offices and models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at noon.

Harmony Homes is locally owned and operated with more than 20 years of experience. The builder is constructing 12 additional neighborhoods throughout the Las Vegas Valley where single- and two-story homes range from 1,462 to 4,761 square feet and are priced from the $119,000s.

In addition to its Las Vegas Valley neighborhoods, the builder offers Bilbray Ranch in Laughlin and is active in California and Texas.
